Python Developer (Contract, English Speaking) - Herzliya, Israel

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Herzliya. As an English-speaking company, we welcome both local and foreign candidates with strong proficiency in the language. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using Python programming language. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with biometric passport systems and possess a biometric passport themselves.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software applications using Python programming language
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Python Developer (minimum 2 years)
- Strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
- Experience working with biometric passport systems is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
