Turner - Metal Lathe Operator

As a Turner - Metal Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of metal lathes to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. You will be working with a team of skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of metal lathes to produce precise parts according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed for quality control
- Set up and load raw materials onto machines
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and cleaning tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make repairs as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred
- Proven experience operating metal lathes in a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in using hand tools for machine maintenance and repairs
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: 1200$ per month with accommodation provided.
