Entry Level Mason

A well-established construction company in Mauren is seeking entry level masons to join our team. As a mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures using bricks, concrete blocks, stones and other materials. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning and organizing materials
- Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or instructions from supervisors
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels or other tools
- Align bricks or stones and ensure they are evenly spaced and leveled
- Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, etc. to cut or shape materials
- Clean excess mortar from brick surfaces using brushes or trowels
- Repair or replace damaged bricks, blocks, or stones as needed

Requirements:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred:
- Prior experience as a mason (not required)
- Nepali or Kenyan nationality (not required)
- Fluent in English (not required)

Salary: Starting at $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
