Egyptian Chef in Nairobi



We are excited to welcome an experienced and talented Egyptian Chef to join our team in Nairobi! As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Egyptian dishes for our restaurant. You should have a strong background in Egyptian cuisine, as well as a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Egyptian dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and specials

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Chef, preferably with a focus on Egyptian cuisine
- Knowledge of traditional cooking methods, ingredients, and spices used in Egyptian dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Valid work permit for Nairobi (if not an Egyptian citizen)

Salary: $1400/month (negotiable based on experience)
