Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Jerusalem. This contract position is open to Canadians with experience in network and system administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing our network infrastructure, as well as managing our systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, experience with various operating systems, and excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure network security by implementing appropriate measures such as firewalls and access controls
- Manage server operating systems including installation, configuration, updates, and backups
- Provide technical support for end-users regarding network connectivity or system issues
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on servers and workstations to ensure optimal performance
- Investigate new technologies that could improve the efficiency or security of our network systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in network and system administration
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux/Unix
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Salary: $1700 per month (contract position)

Location: Jerusalem (position open to Canadians)
