Experienced Handyman

As an experienced handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to maintenance and repair in residential and commercial properties in Eldoret. Your main duties will include fixing electrical and plumbing issues, carpentry work, painting, and general repairs. You must have experience in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as knowledge of building codes and safety regulations. You should also have good communication skills to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also required for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaky faucets, repairing broken windows and doors, and replacing light fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
- Install new appliances or fixtures as needed.
- Perform carpentry work such as building shelves, repairing furniture, or installing cabinets.
- Paint interior or exterior surfaces of buildings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Communicate with clients to understand their repair needs and provide updates on progress.
- Follow safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a handyman or similar role.
- Knowledge of basic construction techniques including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, etc.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read building plans is a plus.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects if required.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of local language is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Eldoret (Indians preferred)
