Formworker

As a Formworker in our bustling construction company located in Lahore, you will play a vital role in the creation of various structures, including buildings, bridges, and roads. Your main responsibility will be to create and assemble concrete forms that will serve as the framework for these structures. You will use a variety of tools and materials to ensure the forms are sturdy and accurate according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires strong physical stamina as it involves lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. We are specifically seeking female candidates for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Set up and prepare formwork using various materials such as wood, steel, and plastic
- Pour, spread, and level concrete into the forms
- Smooth out any rough spots or air pockets using trowels or other hand tools
- Install anchor bolts, steel plates, and other necessary components
- Remove forms once concrete has set
- Clean and maintain equipment used in formwork construction

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 1 year of experience in formwork or carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) and work in various weather conditions
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this contract position.
