Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Al-Malikiyah. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This position offers a competitive salary of 1400$ per month and includes visa sponsorship for all nationalities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, reports, and records
- Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or errors
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations, laws, and industry trends

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, regulations, and standards (GAAP)
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- CPA or other relevant certification
- Experience in the retail industry
- Knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS)
