Back-End Developer

We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Utena, Canada. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying our company's website and applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring the responsiveness and efficiency of the back-end infrastructure, while collaborating with front-end developers, designers and other team members to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing efficient back-end solutions for web applications
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimizing application performance and scalability
- Ensuring cross-platform compatibility
- Troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of web server technologies (Apache, Nginx)
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:
-Java certification is a plus
-Prior experience working in an Agile development environment
-Familiarity with MVC frameworks (Spring MVC, Django)

Salary: $1800 per month
