Instrument Technician


An established company in Khasab is seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of instrumentation and control systems used in various industries. This position requires knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical principles, and the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and maintain various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using diagnostic tools
- Program and configure control systems for optimal performance
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times while working with electrical equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in instrumentation technology or related field
- Previous experience working as an Instrument Technician preferred
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and mechanical principles
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Knowledge of programming languages such as PLCs is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
Competitive salary of 1200$ per month will be offered based on experience.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Khasab, Oman. Candidates from India are preferred.
