Cashier for a Busy Retail Store in Manama
We are searching for a skilled and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at a busy retail store in Manama. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized and efficient checkout process.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the store and guide them through the checkout process
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products or store policies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the store
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role
- Excellent math skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer knowledge is preferred
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
