Junior Executive Chef
We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Executive Chef to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As the Junior Executive Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee and manage the kitchen operations. You will be responsible for creating and developing new menus, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and training and supervising kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and organizing the kitchen operations
- Create new menus that reflect current food trends and meet customer preferences
- Ensure high quality of food preparation and presentation
- Maintain clean and organized workstations at all times
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Manage inventory and control food costs
- Implement proper food safety procedures to comply with health regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Sous Chef or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to train and motivate staff
- Creative mindset with strong passion for food
- Attention to detail with ability to maintain high standards under pressure
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
Salary:
Starting salary of 1700$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.
