Library Assistant in Bansko, Bulgaria

We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team in Bansko, Bulgaria. As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the librarian in organizing and managing the library's resources. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for books and learning.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the librarian in cataloging and shelving books according to the library's classification system
- Help patrons locate books and other materials within the library
- Check books in and out using the library's computer system
- Process new books and materials for circulation
- Maintain a clean and organized library space
- Provide basic reference assistance to patrons as needed
- Assist with planning and implementing library programs and events

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field is preferred
- Previous experience working in a library or similar environment is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service mindset

Salary: $1300/month with accommodation provided.
