ESL Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ESL Teacher to join our team at a language school in Akron. As an ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons to students of various ages and levels, with a focus on developing their English language skills. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of individual students
- Teach English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to help them improve
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and fosters cultural understanding
- Communicate with parents or guardians to provide updates on students' progress
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and share teaching resources
- Stay updated on current teaching methods and techniques in ESL education

Requirements:
- Native-level English proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in TESOL, Education, or related field (preferred)
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (preferred)
- Experience teaching English as a second language (preferred)
- Passion for working with diverse groups of students
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and approaches based on student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work visa or legal status to work in the United States
