Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Bungoma. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, and level sensors
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in control systems and equipment
- Program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for process control
- Create and maintain documentation of instrument calibrations, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Proven knowledge of various types of instruments such as transmitters, controllers, actuators, etc.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Willingness to work full-time with flexible schedules as needed
