Head Chef - Modern European Cuisine
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Chef with experience in preparing modern European cuisine to lead our kitchen team in Eschen. As an executive chef, you will be responsible for creating menus, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food quality and standards. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1500$.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative menus that showcase modern European cuisine
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently produced
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of modern European cuisine techniques and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards
- A creative mindset with an eye for detail in food presentation
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Must be able to work full-time without accommodation provided
- Valid work visa for Eschen or willing to relocate with the assistance of a free visa and ticket
