Architectural Designer

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Designer to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for creating designs and plans for various architectural projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, budget constraints, and building codes. This is a contract position without accommodation and requires candidates to have their own visa. This is an urgent job opportunity with a competitive salary of 1800$.

Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality architectural designs and plans for clients
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and objectives
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess feasibility of projects
- Prepare detailed drawings, models, and renderings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Present design proposals to clients and make necessary revisions based on feedback
- Coordinate with contractors and engineers to ensure successful implementation of design plans
- Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology, and new materials to incorporate into designs
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and materials used

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience as an Architectural Designer or similar role (2+ years)
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Architecture
- Experience working on residential or commercial projects
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as Revit or SketchUp
