Facade Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of building facades, ensuring that they meet safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing building facades based on client requirements and project specifications
- Conducting structural analysis and calculations to ensure the facade can withstand environmental factors such as wind, rain, and earthquakes
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the facade design is integrated seamlessly into the overall building design
- Reviewing shop drawings and other technical documents to ensure compliance with design plans
- Conducting site visits to inspect facade installation progress and resolve any issues that may arise
- Ensuring that all safety standards are met during construction of the facade
- Providing technical support to project teams and resolving any technical issues that may arise during construction
- Keeping up-to-date with industry developments, innovations, and best practices in facade engineering

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facade engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to facades
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:

- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Experience with complex facade systems such as curtain walls, cladding, and rainscreens
- Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency principles in facade design
