Senior Architect - Washington, DC, USA

As a Senior Architect in our firm, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the design and construction of various architectural projects in Washington, DC. Your expertise in architectural design and problem-solving skills will be essential in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing structures. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all necessary codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of architectural designs for commercial and residential projects
- Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design plans
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and needs for each project
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on technical issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working as an architect in a reputable firm
- Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and construction processes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $900 per month (negotiable based on experience)
