We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Aarhus. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Review financial data for accuracy and identify variances
- Develop budgets and forecasts to support business decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial information and provide insights for decision making
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors
- Train junior accountants on accounting procedures and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
