Radio Technician

Our company is seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Medina. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various radio communication systems. This role requires experience in the field and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work independently. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700, including accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure radio communication systems according to specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems are functioning properly
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Conduct repairs as needed, both on-site and in the workshop
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Provide training and support to users on how to operate equipment properly

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio communication systems, such as two-way radios, satellite phones, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond quickly to emergency repair calls

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in electronics or related field
- Experience working with different types of antennas and cables
- Familiarity with FCC regulations for radio communication equipment
