Land Surveyor (Part-Time) in Svalbard
We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data to determine land boundaries, topography, and other important information for various construction and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment and techniques to accurately measure and determine land boundaries, elevations, and other key information.
- Collect and analyze data from surveys to create maps, charts, and reports for clients.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to provide accurate survey data for construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards while conducting surveys.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and produce detailed reports as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Land Surveyor.
- Proficient in the use of advanced surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, laser scanners, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex survey data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to land surveying in Svalbard is preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this part-time position.
