Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating authentic and delicious Indian dishes while also possessing strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring traditional and modern Indian dishes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high quality food production
- Oversee food purchasing, budgeting, and inventory management
- Maintain kitchen sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with management on restaurant operations and strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Manage food costs and maintain profitability without sacrificing quality
- Build relationships with local suppliers for fresh ingredients
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Proven track record of creating successful menus that appeal to a diverse customer base
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one
- 12th grade education or equivalent
Salary: 1400$ USD/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Ar-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates (preference for Indian nationality)
