Seasonal Concierge for Hotel in Bungoma, Kenya


We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Seasonal Concierge at our hotel in Bungoma, Kenya. This is a perfect opportunity for Indian nationals looking to gain experience working abroad and practicing their English language skills. As a concierge, you will be responsible for assisting guests with their needs and making sure they have an enjoyable stay. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong sense of professionalism. Previous experience is not required but is considered an asset. This is a seasonal position with a salary of 1000$ per month without accommodation provided. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and surrounding area
- Assist guests with booking tours, transportation, and other activities
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain an organized concierge desk area and keep track of guest requests
- Make reservations for guests at local restaurants or events
- Communicate effectively with other hotel staff to ensure guest needs are met
- Keep up-to-date on local events and attractions to provide recommendations to guests

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred (other nationalities also welcome)
- Fluent in English (additional languages considered an asset)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Friendly demeanor and positive attitude towards guests and fellow staff members
