Construction Project Manager in Eldoret, Kenya

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. Your main goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, schedules and budgets and track progress throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites including supervising staff and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify any issues or delays
- Prepare progress reports for clients and stakeholders
- Manage project finances including negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Address any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management role
- Experience working on medium to large-scale construction projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget

Preferences:
- Experience working on construction projects in Kenya
- Fluency in English is preferred but not required

Salary: $1000 USD per month

Contract job: This is a contract-based position with the potential for long-term employment based on performance.
