Network and Systems Administrator

The Network and Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's computer network and systems. They will ensure the smooth functioning of all hardware, software, and networking components, as well as troubleshoot any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and security, as well as experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of server systems.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's computer network, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Install, configure, and maintain server systems to support business operations
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Conduct regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to the network infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration or a similar role
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (e.g. BGP), VPNs, firewalls etc.
- Experience with server installation, configuration and maintenance (Windows/Linux)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software/networking issues effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
