We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Jerusalem. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our company's databases. Your main duties will include designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain database systems to ensure their performance, availability and security
- Monitor database systems to identify potential issues and troubleshoot any problems that may arise
- Develop and maintain database backup and recovery procedures
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data integrity
- Manage user access and permissions to the database system
- Collaborate with software developers to design efficient database structures for new applications
- Plan and execute database upgrades as needed
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing databases
- Develop and maintain documentation on database schema, procedures, and standards

Requirements:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS)
- Knowledge of SQL language for querying databases
- Familiarity with data backup, recovery, security protocols, and disaster recovery procedures
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
