Database Administrator

We are hiring a Database Administrator to join our team in Herzliya. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's database systems. Your role will involve monitoring database performance, ensuring data security and integrity, and providing technical support to end-users.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with database design and SQL queries
- Experience in database performance tuning and optimization
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain company databases
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing backup and recovery plans
- Create and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate new applications with existing databases
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding database-related issues
- Identify areas for improvement in database systems and implement solutions

Salary: $1700 per month

Location: Herzliya, Israel
