Contract Interpreter - English/Indian (Herzliya)


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Contract Interpreter with proficiency in both English and Indian languages to join our team in Herzliya. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating verbal communication between English and Indian speakers in various settings such as business meetings, conferences, and legal proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services between English and Indian speakers
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Adapt to different dialects and accents to ensure effective communication
- Act as a cultural liaison between English and Indian speakers
- Research specialized terminology to ensure accurate interpretation
- Take notes during interpretation for reference purposes

Requirements:
- Native or near-native fluency in both English and Indian languages
- Strong verbal communication skills in both languages
- Excellent listening skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Proven experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required
- Must possess a valid biometric passport for travel purposes
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent assignments

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Location:
This job is based in Herzliya, Israel. However, due to the current global situation, remote work may be required.
