Clothing Merchandiser

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clothing Merchandiser to join our team in Nakuru. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for selecting, ordering and displaying clothing products in our store. You will also be responsible for analyzing sales data and trends to make informed decisions on product selection and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for fashion trends, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an urgent position with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Selecting and ordering clothing products from suppliers
- Creating visually appealing displays to attract customers
- Analyzing sales data and trends to make informed decisions on product selection
- Managing inventory levels to ensure availability of popular products
- Collaborating with store managers to plan promotions and sales strategies
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers and negotiating prices
- Monitoring competitor activity and adjusting strategies accordingly

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in fashion merchandising or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Clothing Merchandiser or similar role
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and styles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

Salary: $1300 per month.
Location: Nakuru, Kenya.
