Contract Truck Driver (Malayalee or Filipino) in Al Buraymi


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Al Buraymi. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations within the city. This is a contract position, with a salary of 1600$. We welcome applicants who are Malayalee or Filipino and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and maneuver heavy trucks to transport goods and materials
- Plan the most efficient route to deliver goods on time
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform regular maintenance
- Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers using two-way radios or mobile phones
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, truck inspections, and mileage
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Must be Malayalee or Filipino with English fluency
- Proven experience as a truck driver (minimum of 2 years)
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects when necessary

Working Conditions:
This is a contract position that may require working on weekends or holidays. You will be provided with a company truck, but may need to use your own vehicle at times. The job will involve long hours of sitting, driving, loading/unloading cargo, and standing.
