Cashier
Location: Plovdiv, Bulgaria
We are hiring a dedicated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions with customers and ensuring accuracy in all transactions. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, answering customer inquiries, and promoting store loyalty programs.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Scan items accurately and process payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balance
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally
- Assist with bagging purchases when needed
- Keep the checkout area clean and organized
- Answer customer inquiries about products, promotions or store policies
- Promote store loyalty programs to customers
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required (training will be provided)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
