Kitchen Assistant

Our busy restaurant in Karachi is seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring that all dishes and utensils are properly washed and sanitized. This is a physically demanding job that requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Assist with food preparation as directed by the chef or cook
- Operate dishwashing equipment to wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and other cooking equipment
- Empty trash containers regularly
- Stock shelves with clean dishes, utensils, and other supplies
- Ensure that all surfaces are properly sanitized
- Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen assistant preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation guidelines
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well in a team
- Own visa preferred but not required

Salary: 1300$
