Formwork Carpenter

A construction company in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenter to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in formwork carpentry and be able to work independently. This position is suitable for male candidates and offers a salary of 1700$. Accommodation will be provided, but candidates must have their own visa to work in Portugal.

As a Formwork Carpenter, your main responsibilities will include building and assembling formwork for concrete structures following blueprints and specifications, measuring and cutting materials to fit, and ensuring the safety and stability of the structures. You will also be responsible for maintaining tools and equipment, as well as completing any necessary repairs.

The successful candidate must have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A good understanding of construction safety procedures is also essential.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in formwork carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills, etc.
- Physical stamina for lifting and carrying heavy materials
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Own visa to work in Portugal
