Nurse Assistant

As a Nurse Assistant in our medical facility located in Funchal, you will be responsible for providing support to our nursing staff and assisting with patient care. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. We welcome candidates without prior experience as we are willing to provide on-the-job training. This position also offers visa sponsorship for non-EU nationals and is open to female applicants.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medication, and assisting with personal hygiene
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment for procedures
- Help patients with mobility and daily activities as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- Valid nursing assistant certification or willingness to obtain one through our training program
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature and the ability to provide quality care to patients of all ages
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed
