Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Braga. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This is a contract position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or issues with instruments
- Calibrate instruments according to specifications
- Monitor inventory and order replacement parts as needed
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate work schedules and priorities
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on instruments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred:
- Technical degree or certification in instrumentation or related field
- Familiarity with PLCs and control systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Experience working with hazardous materials
