We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Almada. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting a wide variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. Your role will involve overseeing the pastry kitchen, managing inventory, and ensuring quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts, as well as experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Create new recipes and develop menu items in line with current trends
- Oversee the daily operations of the pastry kitchen
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure quality control by maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
- Train junior staff members on proper techniques and procedures
- Follow all health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety precautions
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1700 for this position.

Location:
This position is located in Almada. However, we are open to considering candidates from other locations who are willing to relocate.
