We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating a variety of delicious pastries and desserts for our restaurant. Your main goal will be to ensure that all baked goods meet our high standards of taste, quality, and presentation.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare a wide variety of pastries, such as cakes, cookies, tarts, breads, and other desserts
- Follow recipes and techniques to consistently produce high-quality products
- Decorate pastries using different techniques to enhance their appearance
- Ensure that ingredients are stored properly and used efficiently to minimize waste
- Keep track of inventory levels and place orders when needed
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Collaborate with the restaurant's management team to develop new menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment at all times
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods is essential
- A creative mind with an eye for detail is necessary to create visually appealing desserts
- Strong time-management skills are required to handle multiple orders at once
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Good communication skills for coordinating with other kitchen staff and management team members
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.
