Cashier - Muscat, Oman
We are currently hiring for a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Scan, bag and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit or debit card transactions with precision
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and customer service
- Upsell products or services when appropriate
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English are required
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills are necessary to calculate change for customers
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
Salary: 1200$ per month.
This is a part-time position without accommodation.
