Contract Database Administrator (DBA) - Gujrat, India



We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team in Gujrat, India. As a Contract DBA, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our organization's databases, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and perform at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:
- Install and configure database software
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Ensure data integrity and security
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure database compatibility with other systems
- Participate in the design and implementation of new database structures
- Conduct regular maintenance activities such as updates and patches
- Provide technical support to users regarding database access and usage
- Create documentation for database processes and procedures

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role
- Expertise in database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
- Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and integrity principles
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Java
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
