Executive Chef for Indian Restaurant in Chelyabinsk, Russia
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at our Indian restaurant in Chelyabinsk. As the head of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for creating and executing menus, managing food costs and inventory, and ensuring the highest quality of dishes are served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design authentic Indian menus that showcase traditional dishes as well as modern twists
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner
- Manage inventory and control food costs to meet budget goals
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Chelyabinsk, Russia
Employment Type: Contract (with possibility of extension)
