Contract Dietitian - Svalbard

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Svalbard. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing dietary counseling and education to clients, creating personalized meal plans, and conducting nutrition assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition science and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for clients
- Provide dietary counseling and education to clients based on their individual needs
- Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to meal plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in nutrition science

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution (Master's degree preferred)
- Must hold current registration as a dietitian by the national board (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Dietitian
- Strong knowledge of nutrition science, including macro and micronutrients, food allergies/intolerances, and special diets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Norwegian is an asset)

Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Svalbard, Norway

Contract Type: Full-time, 6-month contract with possibility of extension
