Preservation Architect - Gujrat, India
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Gujrat, India. This will involve conducting thorough assessments of the structures, developing restoration plans, and overseeing the execution of restoration projects.
Your main duties will include conducting on-site surveys to identify areas that require preservation or restoration, researching historical information about the buildings and structures, and developing comprehensive preservation plans that comply with local regulations. You will also collaborate with engineers and other professionals to ensure that preservation projects are executed effectively.
To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of architectural principles and techniques used in preservation work. You should also have excellent research skills to gather historical information about the structures. Additionally, you should have strong project management skills to oversee restoration projects from start to finish.
This is a full-time position that requires you to work 40 hours per week. Accommodation will be provided for candidates who require it. As this is an urgent job opening, we are looking for candidates who can start immediately.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles and techniques used in preservation work
- Excellent research skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
