Experienced Turner in Funchal, Madeira

Our company is seeking an experienced Turner to join our team in Funchal, Madeira. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to shape and form metal parts according to specifications. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine the correct specifications for metal parts
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to shape and form metal parts
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Familiarity with operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments
- Good physical stamina and strength
- Attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred:
- Experience working with different types of metals
- Knowledge of welding techniques
