Executive Chef
A luxury hotel in Braga is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing the menu, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high-quality food and service for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design unique menus that reflect the hotel's style and brand
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure all food preparation meets quality and safety standards
- Oversee inventory management and cost control measures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Proven track record of creating innovative menus with a focus on quality
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1100 per month
Location: Braga, Portugal (Open to candidates from any nationality)
