Part-Time Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will also be responsible for measuring and cutting materials to the required specifications, ensuring quality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Carpenter
- Proficient in working with wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Strong physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or instructions
- Cut materials using hand or power tools to the required specifications
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, etc.
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged parts or fixing structural issues
- Ensure quality workmanship by inspecting finished products for defects or imperfections
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and cleaning up after projects are completed
