Carpenter - Woodworking Specialist



We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a Woodworking Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and repairing structures and furniture using various materials, such as wood and other materials. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$, without accommodation.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, tape measures, or marking gauges
- Cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Inspect work progress to ensure compliance with specifications and building codes
- Repair or replace damaged structures or furniture pieces
- Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in preparation for painting or staining
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects within given deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Woodworking Specialist
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and machines
- Knowledge of safety procedures in handling power tools and equipment
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Preference will be given to Indians with experience in carpentry work. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for an experience-rich job in a new country. No English is required for this position.
