We are hiring an experienced and skilled Fitter to join our team in the United States. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing machinery and equipment according to specifications. Your role will involve working with a variety of hand and power tools, reading blueprints and technical diagrams, and ensuring that all safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts and components to form a complete unit using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements
- Measure and mark dimensions on materials using rulers, calipers, squares, or other measuring instruments
- Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans and specifications
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools or welding equipment
- Test completed machinery for proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; technical degree or certification is a plus
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong knowledge of hand and power tools used in fitting work
- Ability to use welding equipment effectively for fabrication purposes
- Good understanding of safety procedures in an industrial setting
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
