Carpenter - Contract Position in Manama, Bahrain


We are currently hiring a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Manama, Bahrain on a contract basis. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencils, chalks or marking gauges
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools such as chisels, saws, drills, etc.
- Assemble prepared wood to form structures such as frameworks, rafters, stairways and more
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
- Inspect work progress to ensure it meets specifications and standards
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of woodworking machines/tools (e.g. saws, drills)
- Good physical strength and stamina
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination
- Biometric passport for travel purposes
