Instrument Technician - Contract Position in Nairobi, Kenya


We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Instrument Technician to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month and includes accommodation.

As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial settings. This includes but is not limited to control panels, sensors, transmitters, and other electronic equipment.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues. You must also be able to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals. Previous experience as an Instrument Technician is preferred but not required.

This position is ideal for students or individuals without prior work experience as on-the-job training will be provided. However, a basic understanding of electrical systems is necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments according to technical specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance on existing instruments
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments
- Read technical manuals and diagrams to identify issues
- Calibrate instruments as needed
- Keep accurate records of all work performed
